VAWDASV Perpetration in a Digital Age

What is it all about?

This course equips professionals with the knowledge and tools to address Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse, and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) in digital contexts. As technology continues to evolve, so do the tactics used by perpetrators, making it crucial to stay informed and proactive in identifying, responding to, and preventing digital abuse.

The training covers key topics, including cyberstalking, online harassment, coercive and controlling behaviour in digital spaces, image-based abuse, deepfakes, sextortion, and online sexual exploitation. Participants will also explore the unique challenges faced by young people and children in navigating online abuse.

Through interactive activities, such as case studies, role-playing exercises, and group discussions, participants will gain practical skills to recognise red flags, develop intervention strategies, and support victims effectively.
